30 Jahre nach dem Fall der Berliner Mauer bezieht sich „The Mantis“, eine knapp 2 Tonnen schwere mobile Klangskulptur, auf den „Berliner-Lautsprecherkrieg“, der sich von 1961 bis 1965 in den embryonalen Tagen der Berliner Mauer an der innerdeutschen Grenze zutrug.
